RICHARD K. SCOTT
Richard K. Scott (Scotty) is a former Baltimore County Prosecutor. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in North Carolina and undergraduate school at Bucknell University where he double majored in Business and Political Science.
He is a former U.S. Army officer with the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Scotty served as and was deployed as a Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Operations Officer at the corps level. He is a certified mediator in the State of Maryland and Bar member in good standing with Baltimore County Bar Association, the State of Maryland, and the United States Supreme Court.
Scotty was born in New York City and raised in the Baltimore-Washington area. He is highly experienced in the areas of criminal and traffic defense, personal injury, and family law. He has tried cases throughout the State of Maryland and remains an active member of the Baltimore County Bar Association where he volunteers his time for pro-bono cases and also teaches trial tactics to and techniques to up-and-coming future attorneys in local high schools. He is an established and well-respected member of both the legal and local communities.
